Jeff and Amy,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you both for all that you
do. Bryanna has been a horse person since the day she was born, but
it took another 11 years of convincing me that she wanted this badly
enough for me to spend the money. Being new to the horse world
myself and being a single mother I decided that I could find a
"bargain" on Craig's list. We found Checotah for a bargain basement
price, fell in love and then found the20ad for Miner ranch and
brought her there. It took me all of five minutes to realize that
Miner was the place we needed to be. Amy was giving a lesson when we
first arrived and I knew she would be the right one to teach Bryanna
all that she needed to know. Jeff was in the middle of chores but
kindly stopped everything to give us the grand tour. As soon as
Bryanna had her first lesson on Checotah, I knew that we had gone
about this backwards. Checotah was a sweet little mare, but a 3 year
old with little or no training is not a great fit for a new rider,
regardless of how sweet she is! Had we found Jeff and Amy first, we
would have never purchased Checotah.
Even though we started the process off backwards and ended up with
the wrong horse for us, it has been a very positive learning
experience and I thank both Jeff and Amy for helping us turn it into
a positive. I happened to receive a call from the previous owner of
Checotah asking if I would be willing to sell her back to them
because they missed her so. Bryanna's birthday was coming up and
with Jeff and Amy's help we found Bryanna a new best friend. Amy and
Jeff helped me pull off the biggest surprise of a 12 year old girls
life! It has only been a few days since Bryanna's birthday but she
is absolutely in love with Ellie and the two of them are already
riding very well together. I know that Jeff and Amy helped me pick
the right horse for my daughter and I know that with their expertise
and great care, these two will learn and grow for many years to
come. They will have that wonderful bond of love and friendship
between a young girl and her horse. As a mother, I can't ask for
anything more. THANK YOU.
--Sherri, Bryanna and Angela
We purchased our first horse from Amy
and Jeff, and we couldn't be happier. We are definitely what you
would call, "Green", when it comes to horses, so we did a lot of
research before making the decision to buy. We've taken riding
lessons, but that is the extent of our knowledge of horses. Since we
live in the city, we had to find a place to board a horse before we
began our search. We looked at so many ads that sounded very
promising, but they ended in disappointment. My 12 year old daughter
came across the Miner's Ranch website, and showed it to the rest of
the family. We saw a few horses that we were interested in, so I
called the contact number. I told Amy that we were looking for a
horse that was well trained and would be a good match for a family
that didn't have much experience. My first impression of Amy was
that of a person who was more concerned with matching the right
horse with the right family than just making a sale. She rode the
horses first and then each of us took a turn, which took a while
since we are a family of seven! The third horse she showed us was
the last because we absolutely fell in love with him. We were very
anxious to have him delivered as soon as possible, which could have
been a problem because it was just a few days before the 4th of July
holiday. She even offered to look for a saddle and bridle at an
auction she was going to the next day. We also got a free riding and
grooming lesson for each member of our family, which was a great
help to us. Amy made sure that we all felt comfortable and confident
with our new horse before the lesson ended. Jeff was kind enough to
deliver our horse as soon as the Coggen's test came back, which was
a requirement for boarding. I would recommend Miner Ranch to anyone
who is interested in riding lessons, purchasing a horse, or boarding
a horse. Thank you, Jeff and Amy, for helping us find such a
wonderful addition to our family!
Sincerely,
The Hoffpauir Family

The Miners really put forth effort to pair me up with horses that
were right for me. They even have tack for sale!! It's a very
family-friendly atmosphere!

Great website... how true on all levels!! Not only do Jeff and Amy
have wonderful kids, they have exceptional horses! Thanks for
everything!

We lost count of how many horses we have gotten through Miner Ranch.
We also have a colt in training and a filly waiting for her turn. My
wife and I have
four daughteras and we trail ride every chance we can on challanging
trails here on our own farm. Every horse has been exactly as
advertised. Much appreciated !

We were proud to purchase Emma’s first horse “Private Dancer”
from Jeff & Amy, which they delivered to our front door on Christmas
morning. Emma rode a few different and excellent horses at the
Miner’s, but when she got on “Private Dancer” the two were meant for
each other. Emma currently boards, takes lessons and goes to horse
shows with the Miner Ranch group. The Miner’s have taught Emma how
to focus, have confidence, and take responsibility, in addition to
building her horse knowledge, giving her constructive advice and
teaching her technical skills to become a great rider. The Miner
Ranch has a relaxing atmosphere with great facilities enjoyable for
all ages. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a trainer,
an instructor, tack advice, boarding facility or a purchase
of a horse. On a personal note from the Goodman’s to the Miner’s:
Thanks for everything!

When we bought our paint gelding, Ace, we didn't really know what we
were getting ourselves into. I was determined to not show. I didn't
want to be one of those people ''who prance around the ring showing
off" We even hadn't planned on keeping him at the Miner's very long,
just until I had gotten used to him. Well...four years later, here
we are at Miner Ranch with too many ribbons to count. Amy and Jeff
Miner are great at what they do, and I owe every ounce of my success
in and out of the show ring to their training and guidance. I really
owe them more than that, because they sold me my best friend. I love
you guys!!!
